SMAC: ScribeMedia Arts and Culture

SMAC video programming includes bi-weekly releases of 5-7 minute long profiles of leading thinkers and practitioners throughout the world of art and culture.

SMAC is an independent Web site focusing on contemporary art, culture and ideas through short form videos, articles and photography.

Launched during the summer of 2009, the site includes coverage of major art and cultural events along with interviews and profiles of influential cultural creatives.

SMAC video programming includes bi-weekly releases of 5-7 minute long profiles of leading thinkers and practitioners.

Videos to date include coverage of the Guggenheim’s Louise Bourgeois retrospective, the MOMA’s Prefabricated Housing exhibition and interviews with Jeffrey Deitch and Simone Giostra among others. A partnership with the Cooper Union allows SMAC to release high level, interdisciplinary lectures that are originally presented at that school.

SMAC Distribution

SMAC videos are distributed through SMAC.us and a growing network of syndication and partner sites that include art, culture and general interest Web sites. If you'd like SMAC on your site, simply contact us. It's easy and free. No strings attached.

Sponsorship Opportunities

SMAC’s core audience is creative and business professionals passionate about art, architecture, design and music.

On average, SMAC videos are watched approximately 25,000 times in the first few weeks of release.

With that momentum in place, and a mailing list now reaching 10,000 people, SMAC.us continues to evolve as a video-driven online publication supplemented with articles, audio podcasts and photography from art and culture events around the world.

SMAC provides two primary types of Advertising and Sponsorship opportunities: Video Sponsorship and Site Sponsorship. With a growing distribution network that reaches millions per month, contact us for editorial calendars and how your brand can integrate with SMAC programming.
