Our driving goal is to help people do things more efficiently, effectively and enjoyably.

Open Source, Social Media & Communications

For the most part, we believe this can be accomplished using Open Source solutions, frameworks, APIs and Web services instead of locking customers into proprietary systems.

We also stress the interrelationship between a Site, an Application or a Widget and the wider Internet. For example, integrating with established social networking platforms like Facebook and communication platforms such as Twitter.

If it’s public and online, it can’t operate in a vacuum. The goal is communication, integration and engagement with our targeted audiences.

Capabilities

Our first and primary capability is listening: we want to hear what current pain points and overall goals are, and what the future vision is. We then come back with suggestions, strategies and solutions of our own. In the end, we want to work in a collaborative atmosphere.

Then it’s time to design, create and build. Our specialties include implementing Social Media and Communications Applications, Content Management Systems, and mini-apps such as Widgets.

We’re platform agnostic, working with best of breed platforms for the problems at hand, whether open source (preferred), proprietary, built from scratch or modified from existing sources.

Our primary tool set includes Ruby on Rails, PHP, Flex, Flash and Ajax all neatly wrapped up and presented in standards compliant CSS/XHTML.
